Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Wash

 Active Ingredients: Benzoyl Peroxide Inactive Ingredients: Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Purified Water, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium C14-16, Olefin Sulfonate, Stearic Acid USP

Shake well. Wet affected area, wash, and rinse well. Use once or twice daily or as directed by a physician. If bothersome drying or peeling occurs, reduce applications. If going outside, use a sunscreen. If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of product and consult a doctor.

When using this product avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen. For external use only. Keep away from eyes, lips, and mouth. If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Using other topical acne medications may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless otherwise directed by a doctor. May bleach fabrics. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. As of March 2024, an independent lab found that over-the-counter (OTC) benzoyl peroxide products contained high levels of benzene. Benzene is known to cause cancer, so this has raised concerns over the safety of OTC acne treatments. Our lab has tested for the presence of benzene in our products and found that our product has none to trace amount of benzene, within FDA standards. We advise those using our benzoyl peroxide products to keep this product refrigerated, as to prevent the degradation of benzoyl peroxide into benzene.
